semester from hell

Well, things have been interesting already this semester. I have a interesting professor for three of my classes. She forgets what she says and is a complete idiot.

I have figured out that my computer does not have enough RAM to run the school programs. So, I invested in more RAM to make it capable. It took about a week for me to get it from Dell but now I have. :) Next fun part is to try to put it into the computer.

Now, I have to invest in a high tech printer. For my computer class I need a printer that has a scanner, copier, and photo quality ink. Which = expensive. The printers in the school labs are always broke and the professor doesn't seem to understand if we can't print we can't hand in a printed lab.

I swear if I don't become an alcoholic or drop out of school this semester I'll be shocked!

Why does everything have to come crashing down at once? I really don't get that with life! Finals coming up is stressful enough. Being far away from home is really hard. Now, I have a lot to think about that I didn't think I had to consider! Why can't all go well for once in my life?

It's my 21st BIRTHDAY :) HEHEHE Last night was more fun than I thought it was going to be. I went out for one to two beers and the guys from my dorm decided to get me a bit drunk. I still can't believe how much I drank and how I don't feel it yet. Well, time to study for my last test before it's party time!

I will be on Spring Break from March 7th-13th. During this time I will be at home, working and doing some homework. I would like to see everyone again and find out what’s new in everyone’s lives in person instead of through the internet. If anything is going on through the dates above please let me know. If not I might try to get a group to go to IHOP, Perkins, or wherever if needed and if time allows me to. Well, since break hasn’t started yet I need to get back to the fun homework.

Today is getting better I'm so freaking happy at the moment. I have to have my parents cosign for an apartment because that's how they do it here and everyone knows my parents. So, it has been a big argument of how I have to live at home for the summer and how I'll hate it here and have to move home and pay rent on a place that I won't live in which is all bullshit. Well, today I sent a somewhat mean e-mail to my father because that's how we talk about shit and he replied back on the topic with he will sign the form. So, i'm freaking excited at the moment. They might not understand but they will support me and give me a chance to finally prove myself to them. I know they aren't use to me being 5 hours away but they have to accept it. I know they don't like the fact that I'll hardly be home and that I do not have a vehicle to get home if needed but there is only so much I can do. Now I really need to find a job close to campus to pay the damn bills. I just hope all works well today with the apartment. I get to check out the one I might live in and if it all goes well I'm going to sign the lease and I'll have a place of my own!

Lots of stress atm! I need to find a place to live, a roommate, a decent paying job or two or three. I just wish the folks would be more understanding but that's too much to ask for. I found an awesome place but don't know if it is in my budget :/ I'm trying to focus on school, life and being happy and it doesn't seem to balance out at all. I just wish I could snap my fingers and make everything okay for me. The positive thing at the moment is that KM keeps on calling me and checking up on me. I don't really know him but it helps out a lot to talk to someone I hardly know about stupid shit. Gives a different outlook on everything and makes me feel better for a bit. Time to do something ... maybe be productive or just bitch ...

It's looking like I'm stuck here for the weekend due to my meeting being canceled on Thursday. I have canceled all the fun plans I've made for the time I was planing on being home :-( I'm still trying to find a ride home and back to see my brother's play on Friday or Saturday night but at the moment the hopes of that are very slim. He told me he'd understand if I can not make it to the play but since I'm his big sister I'd like to be there and support a job well done by him. I had so many things to look forward to this weekend and with one phone call it all came crashing down. I just want the bullshit that's been haunting me to end but I'm going to have to go to hell and back to get anything settled with it.

Some other bullshit has now hit the fan and I'm trying to deal with it all. My Aunt's dog passed away the other day so things are a bit rocky for the time being. No one is really handling it well in the family but that just shows what he meant to the whole family. I really need to try to focus and study for a big test I have. I just hope there's no more drama or stress for me until I'm ready for it but we all know that won't happen.
